Jennifer Lawrence cut a glamorous figure while attending the premiere of her new film Die My Love at the BFI London Film Festival on Friday.

The 35-year-old actress looked incredible as she hit the red carpet in a low-cut black sleeveless dress.

The outfit also featured a low-cut back detail, and Jennifer added to the look with a stunning gold and silver necklace.

The movie star left her blonde curls down on her shoulders and added height to her body with her open-toed high heels.

Jennifer looked in good spirits as she left the hotel before the premiere, wearing a black jacket with a fur collar and cuffs.

Die My Love is adapted from Argentinian author Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel, which details a new mother’s struggle with postpartum depression and subsequent psychosis.

Jennifer appeared him and his leading actor Robert Pattinson perform a nude interpretive dance in the movie.

The Oscar-winning actor made the statement during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, which aired on Friday, and described the experience as “completely humiliating.”

Jennifer laughed: ‘Director Lynne Ramsay challenged us during rehearsals, Robert Pattinson and I had to take interpretive dance lessons together. We both get embarrassed easily and didn’t really know each other, so this was completely humiliating.

‘Then he asked if we remembered what we did on the first day of shooting and asked if we could do it naked.’.

Other guests on the show, Bruce Springsteen, Jeremy Allen White and Tessa Thompson, were left stunned and full of questions. Jennifer responded to this question with humor: ‘Should I have said no? You all look pretty shocked’.

On how he landed the role, he said: ‘Martin Scorsese brought this to us after reading his book at book club, which was lovely.’

‘He said I should play the character. When I read the book I had a hard time imagining it as a movie, but I wasn’t going to fix Marty!’.

In the film, Jennifer plays Grace, a new mother whose mental health begins to deteriorate as her marriage collapses, and 39-year-old Robert plays her husband Jackson.

The star admitted that her perspective on her career changed after having a child, and described motherhood as ‘brutal and incredible’.

She added: ‘Having children changes everything.

‘It changes your whole life. But this is cruel and incredible. And so they’re not just involved in every decision about whether I’m going to work, where I’m going to work, when I’m going to work, and so on.

‘This taught me… I didn’t know I could feel this much. My work has a lot to do with emotion. They opened the doors of the world to me. I feel like I have a blister, it’s very tender.

‘So of course they changed my life for the best and changed me creatively. ‘If you want to be an actor, I strongly recommend you to have children.’

This is the first time Jennifer and Robert have worked together on the film, and the Twilight star, who gave birth to his first child with fiancee Suki Waterhouse last year, echoed his co-star’s sentiments.

She said: ‘I think in the most unexpected way, having a baby gives you the greatest wealth of energy and inspiration.

‘Since he was born, my approach to work has been reintegrated.’

Jennifer and Robert rose to fame in the 2010s; Jennifer played the role of Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptations of the Hunger Games series, and Robert Pattinson gained worldwide fame for his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight.

Jennifer is a four-time Oscar nominee, but her only success was winning Best Actress in 2013 for Silver Lining’s Playbook.

But if recent reviews are anything to go by after the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17, Jennifer may be a candidate for another Academy Award, 12 years after her coronation.

While lead actor Robert and the supporting cast, including 75-year-old Sissy Spacek, were praised for their roles, Jennifer’s standout performance as a fragile wife and mother stands out.

Vogue’s Radhika Seth noted: ‘Some critics in Cannes have already tagged her as one to watch ahead of the 2026 Oscars, and if an effective comeback story is built (it’s been an astounding 12 years since her Academy Award win and a decade since her last nomination), then I could definitely see it – despite its eccentricity, her turn was pure Oscar bait.

Die, My Love was released on 17 May but will be released in the UK and Ireland on 14 November 2025.
