JNTUH VC Named AICTE South Central Chairman

Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) vice-chancellor T. Kishen Kumar Reddy has been appointed chairman of the South Central Regional Committee of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for a period of 3 years.

The appointment was notified by AICTE member secretary Shyama Rath on April 20 as part of the restructuring of regional committee chairmen.

Reddy has previous experience within AICTE, having served as a research and institutional development consultant in its New Delhi office. He also served as vice-chancellor of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University, Gunupur, Odisha. This role puts him in charge of overseeing technical education matters in the South Central region under the AICTE’s regulatory framework.
