Mira Kapoor’s Dhun, Shraddha Kapoor’s Palmonas: Celeb-backed brands clinch funding deals amid investor buzz

Dhun Wellness, a brand backed by Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Kapoor, announced on Thursday that it has raised nearly $4 million in an investment round with participation from leading family offices.
Recently, celebrity-led brands have seen a meteoric rise, with stars from different industries, including cinema and sports, joining a wave of investors to fund the companies.
These brands and startups have participated in various fundraising rounds recently; the latest was Mira Kapoor’s Dhun.
Here’s a list of celebrity-led brands that have successfully raised funds recently or are in talks to do so.
Shraddha Kapoor’s Palmonas
Semi-fine jewelery brand Palmonas, co-founded by Shraddha Kapoor, is in talks for a raise ₹200-250 crore from private equity firm Xponentia Capital, according to a report by Economic Times, I’m quoting people familiar with the development.
Palmonas is seeking an approximate valuation ₹Once the fundraising round is completed, it will be 1,600-1,800 crore, the report said. The company has already risen ₹55 crore from Vertex Ventures in early 2025, valued at ₹500-500 crore.
The Pune-based famous brand is currently tracking its annual revenue ₹300 crore, ET reported.
Founded in 2022 by husband-wife duo Amol Patwari and Pallavi Mohadikar and attended by Shraddha Kapoor, Palmonas’ fundraiser comes at a time when the jewelery industry has become the focus of investors.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Secret Alchemist
Secret Alchemist, the clean perfume brand backed by actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, raised $3 million in a funding round led by Unilever Ventures last week, ET also reported.
DSG Consumer Partners participated in the financing round and consisted of a combination of primary and secondary capital.
According to ET, company co-founder Akash Valia said that $2.5 million of the total amount was allocated as core capital, while the remaining $500,000 was secondary capital, with several early angel investors selling their shares.

Dhun Wellness, a luxury urban wellness startup founded by Mira Kapoor, announced on Thursday the closing of its fundraising round in which the company raised $4 million.
Leading Indian family offices, including SRF Ltd (Kama Group) and Havells India (QRG Investment & Holdings), Arushi Aayush Agrawal (Inspira Global), as well as leading angel investors, Kaushik Deva led by Saama Capital’s Ash Lilani, Timmy Sarna, Abhishek Goyal, Sunil Punjabi and Genesis’ Sanjay Kapoor, participated in the round.
The newly raised capital will be used toward geographic expansion, strengthening clinical and longevity-focused offerings, and building operational depth across centers, the company said in a press release.
