Kanpur man kills twin daughters by slitting their throats; arrested

A man allegedly killed his 11-year-old twin daughters by slitting their throats with an ax after giving them food containing sleeping pills in an apartment in Kanpur, police said.

Medical representative Shashi Ranjan Mishra (48) was arrested from his home, police said.
