Key highlights from Mukesh Ambani’s company Q3 earnings

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited clocked revenue of Rs 97.605 billion in the quarter, up 8.1 percent year-on-year.
Trust Results: According to the company’s press release, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) reported a steady performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (3QFY26); According to the company’s press release, consolidated gross revenue rose 10 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,93,829 crore, while EBITDA rose 6.1 percent to Rs 50,932 crore.
The company stated that the after-tax profit and profit/(loss) share of subsidiaries and Joint Ventures increased by 1.6 percent year-on-year to 22,290 billion rupees in the 3Q26 fiscal year. EBITDA margin for the quarter was reported at 17.3 percent. For the nine months ended December 31, 2025 (9A FY26), RIL’s EBITDA was reported at Rs 1,59,323 billion, an increase of 18.3 percent on a year-on-year basis, while PAT and profit/(loss) share of subsidiaries and joint ventures reached Rs 75,165 million, an increase of 28.1 percent on a year-on-year basis, the statement said.

Commenting on the results, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries, said: “Reliance’s consolidated performance in Q3 FY26 reflects consistent financial delivery and operational flexibility across businesses.
“In the quarter, Jio further expanded its subscriber base with attractive offerings enabled by its comprehensive, home-grown technology stack tailored to Indian markets. The business delivered a strong financial performance with 16.4% growth in EBITDA,” he said.
Highlights from RIL Results
Jio Platforms Limited
Jio Platforms Limited generated quarterly revenue of 43,683 billion rupees, up 12.7 percent year-on-year, while EBITDA increased 16.4 percent year-on-year to 19,303 billion rupees and EBITDA margin increased by 170 basis points to 51.8 percent. RIL said Jio’s 5G subscribers have crossed 250 million and its fixed broadband base has crossed 25 million, making Jio AirFiber the first FWA service to cross 10 million subscribers globally.
Reliance Retail Initiatives
Reliance Retail Ventures Limited generated revenue of Rs 97.605 billion in the quarter, up 8.1 percent year-on-year, while EBITDA rose 1.3 percent to Rs 6.915 billion. The company said more than 500 million transactions were recorded in the quarter and 431 new stores were opened, bringing the total number of stores to 19,979.
Reliance Oil and Gas segment
In the Oil and Gas (Exploration and Production) segment, quarterly revenue decreased by 8.4 percent year-on-year to Rupees 5,833 billion, while EBITDA decreased by 12.7 percent to Rupees 4,857 billion, due to lower volumes and price realizations of KGD6 gas and condensate, as well as higher operating costs resulting from maintenance activities.
RIL Capital Expenditure
RIL said its capital expenditure for the quarter was Rs 33,826 billion, driven by investments in strengthening and expansion of Jio and Retail network and infrastructure, as well as ongoing growth projects in O2C and New Energy businesses. According to the statement, outstanding debt was reported at Rs 3,46,896 crore, while cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 2,29,794 crore, net debt at Rs 1,17,102 crore and net debt-EBITDA at 0.57.
