King Charles III and Queen Camilla wrapped up their historic visit to the United States with a final farewell at the White House. This was Charles’ 20th visit to the United States, but his first since his accession to the throne and his first visit to Queen Elizabeth II in 2007. It was the first official visit by a British monarch since Elizabeth II. It comes as relations between the two countries have been strained recently over the UK’s resistance to President Donald Trump’s war in Iran. NBC’s Raf Sanchez reports TODAY from Buckingham Palace.
