King Charles praises US-UK relationship on America’s 250th

King Charles drew attention to the “relationship based on friendship” between the United Kingdom and the United States, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Signed in 1776, the document established the independence of the United States from the colonial rule of Great Britain; its anniversary is celebrated on July 4.

A celebration concert will be held in Philadelphia, where the Declaration of Independence was signed at Independence Hall 250 years ago, with stars including Christina Aguilera and Meek Mill.
