While smoke was rising over the mountainous region of India, it was reported that a plane crashed in Kishtwar, India. In the news on social media, it was claimed that the plane belonged to the Indian Air Force, but this claim was later denied. In the shared images, a large cloud of gray smoke rising into the sky from the side of a mountain is seen. It was stated that a large explosion was heard during the accident.
An Indian Air Force spokesman said reports that one of the planes crashed were false. They said: “There are some media houses and SM sources claiming that an IAF aircraft crashed near Kishtwar. This report is false. All media houses are requested to verify information from Official sources before publishing/transmitting.”
