Social media star Klaudiaglam – real name Klaudia Zakrzewska – was among those killed in a car crash on Argyll Street in London’s Soho on Sunday. Police said a woman in her 30s was taken to hospital.
At around 4.30am on Sunday, April 19, Metropolitan Police officers were called to reports of a car hitting pedestrians.
Police attended along with the London Ambulance Service. It was stated that the condition of the woman in her 30s, who was hospitalized, was critical. Police also added that a 29-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
A Met Police spokesman said: “The driver of the car, a 29-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, GBH, dangerous driving and drink driving. She was taken into custody and remains where she remains. The incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.”
DCI Alison Foxwell, Specialist Crime South, said: “Our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones as our inquiries continue. Although this incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.”
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision or any activity they believe to be relevant prior to the collision to come forward. “The information you have – no matter how insignificant you believe it to be – could be vital to investigators.”
