Kochi Chander Kunj apartment owners file contempt plea against Army Welfare Housing Organisation over rent default

Chander Kunj Army Towers Apartment Owners Association (CATAOA) has filed a contempt of court petition against the Army Welfare Housing Organization (AWHO) in the Kerala High Court after rejecting the second tranche of rent for six months from March 2026 and one-time shift fee of ₹30,000.

Even though the petition has been published, the hearing is likely to be postponed due to the court being on recess. However, the association is making efforts to move the hearing forward by bringing it before the Vacation Board.
