Kozhikode beach: Kerala Maritime Board invites bids for three major projects

The Kerala Deniz Board (KMB) demands suggestions from the relevant companies for the development of three property at Kozhikode Beach. On September 17, 2025, a pre -bicycle meeting was held at 11:00 at the Government Guest House in Kozhikode to discuss the ideas related to the bidding process.
The first project is for the development of a multi-mode transit garden in North Beach, as well as facilities such as e-ticket, security, surveillance, toilet, home charging, seller kiosks, children’s playground, outdoor gym and grass.

Smart parking facility, relevant signs, fire -fighting facility, electricity, lighting and skiing (for boat parking) are mandatory. However, the owners will have the right to establish other facilities subject to controls covered by CRZ and KMBR.
The second project is that the priority emerges in another 2.5 acres of land in South Beach to maximize access to natural beauty while promoting cultural, economic and social vitality. In this field, projects under tourism and hospitality, recreational maritime activities, commercial initiatives, infrastructure and port leadership are proposed.

The third project is for the development of a roadside center center in 30 cents land. The KMB foresees to transform this site into an asset that creates an income that serves both public interest and urban development goals. The bidder owners can set up one of the three options: Retail shops, restaurants, food courts, commercial offices, or common working areas with minimum 300 square meter development area. The second option is an amusement park that can host at least 1,000 users per day and the third is a fuel station with at least four fuel distributors and two electric vehicle charging stations. The proposal has the right to follow the remaining lands for further buildings by following the above -mentioned checks.
In all three projects, the proposal can design, create and operate the project for 30 years from the date of privilege, while the period may be extended subject to the approval of the government government. Pre -priority history is September 17, 2025 for the first two projects. The deadline is 3, 10 and 6 October, respectively.
