Ladakh L-G chairs security review meeting, says restrictions to be lifted in a phased manner

Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, reviewed the judge and order in the Union Region (UT) in the Union Region (UT) and provided people with gradual restrictions after last week’s violence.
Mr. Gupta organizes high -level meetings twice a day in the evening, one of the last week, which followed the points of the fierce clashes on September 24, who left four people dead and demanded that others be included in Ladakh and the sixth program of the Constitution.
Authorities give information to the governor of the lieutenant about the latest security scenario and measures to maintain peace and stability in the region.

Addressing the meetings on Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor praised the brutal efforts of the security forces and civil administration to recover the normality last week under difficult conditions.
He also thanked for patience and cooperation shown by the people of Ladakh.
Mr. Gupta, who reviewed the welfare measures, asked the situation of the injured in the state hospital and directed the administration and hospital authorities to provide the best possible medical care.
Furthermore, the Polish commissioner has led the administration to provide all possible humanitarian assistance and financial support in cases where advanced medical treatment is required outside the UT, so that no individual does not confront or neglect any difficulty.
Addressing the citizens, the governor of the lieutenant called on people not to pay attention to rumors or misinformation, and he was sure that peace and harmony would be protected at all costs.

He emphasized that the administration is completely determined to protect peace, law and order throughout the UT with the security forces.
Lieutenant Governor, very soon, after the situation was fully stabilized, all the restrictions applied as precautionary measures would be gradually removed.
“Peace and development are the most important priorities of management. Together, with the cooperation of people, Ladakh will continue on the way to progress,” he said.
