Latham denies breaking law, rules over ex’s allegations

Mark Latham, the controversial deputy, declared that a former partner responded to the public allegations of domestic violence.
Former Federal Leader and NSW One Nation leader described reports that describe former common Nathalie Matthews as “false, reckless and irresponsible”.
Mr. Latham has been the subject of the allegations that Ms. Matthews had been reported to “a constant abuse and manipulation pattern” because he sought a domestic violence order against him.
“I did not break any law. The police did not include themselves in the Avo issue.”
“I did not violate the legislative council to stop.”
“The NSW Parliament has strict processes about inappropriate behaviors, and I have never been informed about me in six years.”
Ms. Matthew’s private application will be heard before the court on July 30, but no document has been published to elaborate on the allegations of unstable allegations.
The police did not make any accusations against the deputy.
However, it is reported by the politician to Ms. Matthews from the parliamentary floor.
Messages contain photos and humiliating comments about female MPs.
Mr. Latham said he apologized to the liberal member Susan Carter and Greens Deputy Abigail Boyd and both accepted the apology.
Some of Mr. Latham’s parliamentary colleagues claimed that the controversial deputy would be dismissed if he worked elsewhere, but others acknowledged that they would still cooperate with him.
Prime Minister Chris Minns said that Mr. Latham’s “very disturbing” behavior could not be accepted anywhere else, and that the senior minister Rose Jackson should escape him.
Opposition upper home leader Damien Tudehope defended working with Mr. Latham conditionally.
The government has conducted an investigation to Mr. Latham about the claim that the privilege of parliament was abused.
Mr. Latham resigned from the Federal Parliament in 2005 and left the Labor Party in 2019 before he was elected as a member of One Nation for the NSW upper council.
In 2023 he left the party and became independent.
