Opposition to Move Impeachment Motion Against CEC

New Delhi: Sources, in the midst of the allegations of “theft of the vote”, the opposition parties will bring an objection movement against Monsoon’s Monsoon Session against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

Congress Rajya Sabha Deputy Syd Nineed Nazeer Hussain spoke about it and said that the party was ready to use all democratic vehicles, including an objection movement, but so far no official discussion has been made.

“If there is a need, we will use all the weapons of all democracy under the rules. From now on, we have not made any discussion, but if necessary, we can do something,” Hussain told Ani.

The day before, the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar rejected Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s latest “theft of the vote” about the Indian Election Commission (ECI) and addressed a press conference in the national capital.

The opposition leader in Lok Sabha called the Indian Constitution as “insulting” allegations of prejudice. Cec also asked the Congress Deputy Rahul Gandhi to make a signed statement or apologize to the country for his words.

He continued: “A declaration should be given to the country or an apology should be made. Cec Gyyanesh Kumar said to address MediaPersons.

Rahul Gandhi, the opposition leader in Lok Sabha, returned to CEC, claiming that ECI wanted a declaration from him but did not come from BJP deputy Anurag Thakur while making the same claims.

He continued: “The election commission wants a declaration from me. But when Anurag Thagur says what I say, he does not want a declaration from him,” Rahul Gandhi said.

Meanwhile, the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju called on Congress and other opposition parties to avoid having disruptions in parliament on issues related to the Election Commission.
