Opposition to Move Impeachment Motion Against CEC

Rahul Gandhi, the opposition leader in Lok Sabha, returned to CEC, claiming that ECI wanted a declaration from him but did not come from BJP deputy Anurag Thakur while making the same claims.
He continued: “The election commission wants a declaration from me. But when Anurag Thagur says what I say, he does not want a declaration from him,” Rahul Gandhi said.
Meanwhile, the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju called on Congress and other opposition parties to avoid having disruptions in parliament on issues related to the Election Commission.
