Leicester woman, 86, arrested after ‘human remains buried at home’ | UK | News

A 86 -year -old woman was arrested after a police investigation about the allegations that she might have been buried in a Leicester house in the 1970s. After receiving a report from a third side, Leicestershire police confirmed that human residues could be found at an address on the Wolvertton Road on the Narborough Road.
Officers from the great criminal team of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit made a search for Wolvertton Road property on Saturday, July 19, and a second order was held on another property on the nearby Dumbleton Boulevard on the same day.
Police said in a statement, a 86 -year -old woman was arrested in relation to the case, but since then, he was released with a police guarantee waiting for more investigations.
Detective Inspector Neil Holden, who led the investigation, described the investigation as “very complex and sensitive” and warned that he stayed in early stages.
“I appreciate that the news of this investigation will be related to the local community.” He said.
“Given the serious nature of the allegations, a scene protection was applied at both addresses to allow civil servants to make a comprehensive search and provide any evidence.”
The police did not confirm whether any human residue has been saved or did not publish more details about the nature or potentially concerned persons.
Local neighborhood officers remain in the region to ensure assurance and the public is asked not to speculate or disseminate incorrect information.
