Real reason Meghan and Harry don’t want their children’s faces online | Royal | News

Meghan Markle made a huge mistake over the weekend when she posted a video of Prince Harry carving a pumpkin. While the Duchess of Sussex, 44, probably only wanted her husband in the shot, the video showed the faces of her children Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, running in the background.
This caused Meghan to make changes to the video; The duchess and her husband reportedly felt strongly about their children’s faces not being made public. This is believed to be a result of their desire to keep their children out of the public spotlight for as long as possible.
However, while it is believed that they want their children to have this privacy during their childhood, there is also a very real and very sad reason why they do not want their faces to be shown.
This is believed to be due to fear for their safety.
A source previously told PEOPLE: “Harry was reluctant to show his children in public, not to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats.
“He wants them to live as normal a life as possible without fear of being kidnapped or harmed.”
Although Meghan has previously posted photos of her children on Instagram, the children’s full faces have never been shown.
