A host of celebrities, athletes and ordinary Brits will be taking part in the London Marathon.

Among the nearly 60,000 people who will take part in the marathon will be Olympians Dame Laura Kenny and Sir Ben Ainslie, who are both running for charity.

Former Arsenal and England football captain Tony Adams, horse racing great AP McCoy and F1 racing driver Sebastian Vettel are also among the runners.

At least one cartoon character is also known to have participated in the race: Daddy Pig, the father of popular children’s TV show character Peppa Pig.

He will compete for the National Association for Deaf Children, following the story of the show that his son, George Pig, is moderately deaf.
