Lucy Connolly set to be released after ‘national scandal’ jail term | UK | News
Lucy Connolly, who was imprisoned for encouraging racial hatred after the Southport terrorist attack, is reported to get rid of prison.
According to Telegraph, Connolly, a conservative council member of her husband Raymond Connolly, will walk freely on Thursday after receiving a 31 -month custody sentence last year. He wrote to X on the day when the three children were killed by Axel Rudakubana in Southport: “Now being deported to mass, he opened fire on all the hotels full of all the bastards I care about … If he makes me racist.”
He felt guilty of encouraging racial hatred by publishing and distributing a “threatening or abusive” on the X, and in October last year he was imprisoned in Birmingham Crown Court. The news comes a day after the bad Southport killer cuts boiling water on the protection and then giving the advantages of luxury prison.
Connolly faced criticism because he was extremely violent, but Sir Keir Starmer stopped later this year.
Appeal struggle
The Prime Minister was questioned in May after the rejection of the appeal court against Connolly’s prison sentence.
When he asked if the prime minister’s imprisonment was “efficient or fair use” during his questions, Sir Keir replied: “The court is a matter for our courts and I congratulate our independent courts in this country.
“In favor of free speech, we have made free speech in this country for a long time and we strongly protect it.
“But I encourage violence against other people. I will always support the action taken by our police and courts to keep our streets and people safe.”
Connolly’s post has been viewed 310,000 times in three and a half hours without wiping.

Lord Young, the founder and director of the Free Speech Association, said: “Lucy Connolly’s rapid deleted and apologized for a single tweet for more than a year imprisonment, especially labor deputies, parliamentary members and even worse anti -racism campaignists avoid the prison.
He continued: “The same latitude of their loved ones must have been given to Lucy.”
