M3 traffic LIVE: Westbound blocked after horror crash as 4 mile queues build | UK | News

The M3 was closed near Southampton following a crash as motorists faced 40-minute delays.

National Highways says: “The #M3 in #Hampshire is blocked due to a westbound collision between J12 #Eastleigh and J13 #Southampton. Emergency services are working at the scene. There are currently delays of 40 minutes and there is 6km of traffic congestion on approach.”

The RAC’s website says: “Due to the accident, a car and a motorbike were involved, the road was closed and traffic queued. There is congestion at J10 (Winchester).

“M3 Southbound blocked, traffic queued due to accident, a car and a motorbike involved from J12 A335 (Eastleigh) to J13 A335 Leigh Road (Chandlers Ford). Congestion to J10 (Winchester). Also affecting roads at Twyford and Eastleigh Railway Station as traffic diverts towards the closure.”
