In the statement made by the zoo, it was announced that the crocodile entertainment center, where a three-year-old child was located, was fully opened to the public this weekend. The Johnsons, of Old Hurst Zoo in Huntingdon, confirmed in a post on social media that “the entire area will be fully open” on Saturday, nine days after the incident involving the boy.

Our entire site will be fully open as of this weekend, thank you.” Fans of the zoo shared on Instagram that they were happy to see the zoo fully reopen after the Tropical House, which also houses the crocodile sanctuary, was closed following the June 18 incident.
One Instagram user responded to the post: “We love our visits to our local zoo!”
Another wrote: “Great news! Going to visit this afternoon.” Similarly, a third added: “This is great news.”
