Malaga floods LIVE: Valencia and Marbella weather chaos as Spain hit by floods | World | News

Severe weather conditions will continue to decrease across Spain in the coming days. Disaster red alerts have already been downgraded to orange and even yellow in some areas.

Updated weather warnings were issued on Monday for the entire regions of Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Castile and Leon, the Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community.

The rest of the country will follow suit as conditions continue to ease and weather warnings either disappear entirely or turn to low-risk yellow, according to AEMET data.

Come Tuesday, Castile and León, Catalonia, Estremadura and Galicia will be the only regions still under weather warnings, with a weather advisory for high winds issued for coastal parts of Emporda and Girona.

Conditions will ease again by Wednesday, with yellow weather warnings for fog expected to affect only the provinces of Castile and Leon and the Estremadura region. Both are located next to the country’s western border with Portugal.
