Man and teenage boy arrested over cyber-attack on London nurseries | UK news

A man and a child were arrested in connection with the allegations of cyber attacks in a series of nurseries in the Great London.
The 22 -year -old man and the 17 -year -old boy were arrested on Tuesday with suspicion of computer abuse and blackmail on housing properties in Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire on suspicion of blackmail and were detained for inquiry.
In September, the names, pictures and addresses of approximately 8,000 children were stolen from Kdo nursery chain. 10 children’s profiles were sent online and the computer pirates threatened to publish more materials unless paid.
Will Lyne, the President of the Economic and Cyber Crime of Met, who explained the arrests, said: “Since these attacks took place, expert Met researchers are working at speed to identify the responsible ones.
“We understand that such reports can cause a significant concern for parents and caregivers who may worry about the impact of such an event on themselves and their families.
“We want to secure the society and affect this issue that it continues to be taken seriously. These arrests are an important step in our investigation, but our business continues to ensure that our partners and responsible are delivered to justice.”
