Man charged following ‘random’ stabbing attack outside shopping centre

After a stabbed outside a shopping center in Monumon afternoon on Monday afternoon, a man was accused of leaving another man on his chest and neck with stabbing wounds.

After an oral debate between the two men increased, the police were called to Homer Street outside Moonee Ponds at around 4.35 o’clock. The police claim that 55 -year -old Fitzroy produced a knife and stabbed a 44 -year -old man from Essendon.

Speaking on Monday evening, inspector Raj Tillekeratne said the police believe that the incident was random and isolated.
