Man charged following ‘random’ stabbing attack outside shopping centre
After a stabbed outside a shopping center in Monumon afternoon on Monday afternoon, a man was accused of leaving another man on his chest and neck with stabbing wounds.
After an oral debate between the two men increased, the police were called to Homer Street outside Moonee Ponds at around 4.35 o’clock. The police claim that 55 -year -old Fitzroy produced a knife and stabbed a 44 -year -old man from Essendon.
The victim, who was subjected to minor injuries, was taken to hospital in a stable situation.

On Tuesday, the police caused a serious injury and attack with a 55 -year -old Fitzroy man with a deliberate and reckless gun.

Speaking on Monday evening, inspector Raj Tillekeratne said the police believe that the incident was random and isolated.
Tillekeratne, “Allahu Akbar”, was used by the criminal after being taken into custody, the police did not believe that the attack was said during him, and there was nothing that shows that any ideology behind the attack.
“As a part of our normal investigations, we contacted the command of the Anti -Terrorism, and we have nothing to show that it is motivated religiously or politically, so we act only as random, isolated crimes,” he said.
