Man charged with murder after bodies of man and woman found in seaside town | UK | News
A 58-year-old man has been charged with murder after two people were found dead at a property in East Sussex. The bodies of Adrian Horton, 66, and Uschi Schild, 46, were found at a property in Seven Acre Close, St Leonards, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Surrey Police said officers were called to the scene shortly after 4.30am on Tuesday following reports that a man and a woman had been injured. Sean Gray, 58, was later arrested at an address on Battle Road, police said. Gray, of no fixed address, is expected to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday. Detective Superintendent Jay Mendis-Gunasekera said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the families, friends and loved ones of those killed at this very difficult time.
“This continues to be a fast-moving investigation as we seek to establish the full circumstances surrounding these deaths.
“We believe the suspects and victims know each other and we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation at this time.
“Officers are continuing to investigate the address and the surrounding area and police presence will be increased whilst these investigations continue.”
