Man ‘stabbed to death’ in broad daylight as police launch murder probe | UK | News

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was allegedly stabbed to death in broad daylight on Sunday, May 3.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Northamptonshire just after 3pm following reports that a man had been stabbed in Wellingborough on Birchfield Road.

However, despite the best efforts of emergency workers, the man tragically died at the scene. The 38-year-old man is believed to be Darren King. The two men, both aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after the incident and remain in police custody.

A significant police presence is expected to remain in the area until Monday, May 4, as officers try to piece together the series of events.
