Mapped: Where thunderstorms will hit parts of the UK

After publishing a yellow air warning, thunderstorms are set to disrupt heat in some parts of England.
Some parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to see severe storms until Thursday and to go on Friday.
Yellow air warnings were given to large areas and the conditions threaten to be violent until 22:00 on Thursday. While the warning in Scotland continued on Wednesday, Ireland started in the middle of the day from Thursday.

The Met Office said it could rain less than an hour in Scotland and 50 to 70 mm in two hours. In Ireland, it is expected to be less than an hour of 40 mm and up to 50 mm in total.
Despite rainy conditions, the UK will continue to experience the fourth heat wave of England, even in areas where storms will hit.
MET Office Baş Meteorologist Paul Gundersen said: “Some areas will continue to experience the fourth heat waves in summer so far, although they are cooler for the coasts of Thursday, they will remain very hot or very hot for many areas. Temperatures can still reach 30C in Eastern England, but many areas will be a few degrees of cooling compared to the previous week.”
Estimated, the residents in the areas covered by the warning, the region is at a higher risk of flash flood, he said. He recommends that people make travel plans in advance when necessary and prepare for power outages, strong winds and thunder.

It is estimated that the Heat spell moving towards the weekend will continue in the south, while more northern regions are preparing to see Clouder Skies. Lightning should sink to Friday, the worst way Drizzly should take the sky.
By continuing the heat wave conditions of the country, temperatures can rise up to 31C in the south of England. This Saturday falls to 30C and 29C on Sunday.
