Marcus Bontempelli has signed a four-year, $5.4 million deal at the Western Bulldogs but he could’ve earned millions more elsewhere
Six times All-Avustralya, Bontelli’s four-year contract extension will lead him to the end of 2029, when he was 34 years old.
The confirmation of the contract comes on Monday night after the second largest Bulldog behind Ej “Ted” Whitten in the hundreds of clubs of the club.
“That ours,” he declared on Tuesday morning on social media with Bontempelli and his signature on social media.
In a club statement, Bontelli said that re -signing was an important decision to “spend the right time”.
“A few different things happened-getting married out of the season, opening a small coffee shop in Kew-but ultimately it is no different from how I cope with other things in the past,” he said.
“This club means a lot for me, it is difficult to put a few words to be honest.
“I grew up as a man and spent all my adult years, I came here at the age of 18.
