Medieval London church lifted into sky as office is built underneath | News

A medieval church tower in London was removed from the ground 45FT above the ground to lead a new skyscraper.

The images taken on Tuesday (September 23rd) show the tower of all 700 -year -old heirlooms painted in the stakes on the construction site on 50 Fenchurch Street.

For the French insurance company AXA, an office tower of 1 billion pounds will be built right next to the church, which will be the center of a new public square.

More than 125,000 tons of soil was removed from the bottom of the building in the first grade list to travel for an office skyscraper of 650,000 square meters.

AXA Investment Managers Development Manager Rob Samuel said that the work around the church of the accident was “an unprecedented engineering success”.
