Russia vows openness to talks, Ukraine steps up attacks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russia is open to peace with Ukraine, but it continues to be a priority to achieve its goals, US President Donald Trump’s 50 -day ultimatom to agree to face the cease -fire or hardened sanctions days after publishing a 50 -day ultimatom.
Peskov and other Russian officials repeatedly rejected the charges of stopping peace talks from Ukraine and their allies.

On July 14, Trump threatened Russia with steep tariffs and announced a rejuvenated pipeline to reach the US weapons to Ukraine, and after the unsuccessful negotiations aimed at finishing the war, he hardened his stance against Russia after months of disappointment.
The US President said he would apply “serious tariffs” unless a peace agreement is reached within 50 days.
He provided several details about how to implement, but claimed that they would target Russia’s trade partners to isolate the country in the global economy.
