Meghan Markle said she was “overjoyed” after Oprah Winfrey chose one of her As Ever products to be on her Favorite Things list for 2025. The Duchess of Sussex has been known to have been close to the TV guru for several years, and it was she who gave Meghan her infamous 2021 interview after Prince Harry quit royal duties.
Meghan and Oprah, who are also neighbors in Montecito, California, have met many times. Last year the TV star featured one of Meghan’s gifts in her favorites list, and this year she gave her pal a boost once again, with one of her As Always gift boxes featuring prominently in the 2025 list.
Oprah wrote: “Each year I look for gifts that feel ‘just right’—little luxuries, cozy comforts, and clever finds for friends, family, and everyone in between. My hope is that these gifts will help you celebrate the people who brighten your life and maybe add a little sparkle to your own life.”
Meghan’s Signature Fruit Spread Gift Box, which includes raspberry and strawberry cream as well as orange marmalade and is priced at £33 ($42), is listed under the food section.
Oprah said of the gift: “My neighbor Meghan shared her homemade recipes with us before she started her business. I love sprinkling it on an English muffin, yogurt, or ice cream.”
“I also love bringing jam or preserves as a hostess gift, and just add a bow to this beautiful box set of orange marmalade, raspberry and strawberry spreads and you’re ready to go.”
Meghan and her team welcomed the news and celebrated with posts on social media as well as the new As Ever newsletter.
