Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed Meghan could still attract widespread attention and use it to her advantage.

He told the Daily Express: “He [Meghan Markle] He has one advantage, everyone knows who he is, the press may attack but he will still get wide coverage.

“We don’t know his schedule. He might have some unconventional plans!”

Mr Fitzwilliams added: “He hasn’t made it in Hollywood, he and Harry have been linked to Invictus and they will take it to the top quickly.”

Meghan last set foot in the UK in September 2022 to attend the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth.
