Meghan Markle mocked after she partners up with US influencer – ‘Yikes’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle was mocked online after announcing her latest partnership with lifestyle brand As Ever. The Duchess of Sussex’s company has partnered with US influencer Olivia McDowell, who has a huge following and regularly posts about beauty, fashion and lifestyle.
In videos shared by both Olivia and As Ever, the creator could be seen setting up her place with As Ever gifts as party favors and explaining her best hosting tips for the summer using the brand’s stock. But fans were unimpressed with the move and accused the Duchess of relying on influencers to make her brand more appealing to customers.
One user wrote of
“If the talking points don’t work, you get new talking points, you don’t hire someone else to repeat the same failed lines.”
The latter agreed and said: “Even I think it’s pathetic and I tried to be impartial.”
Meanwhile, another user said: “Nothing he will do will start selling those overpriced fruit butters and bad candles.”
A fourth user commented: “Too late. He’s already tainted her by thinking he knows everything and doesn’t need help or professional advice. Whatever.”
The Duchess shared a new post about her family’s time in Montecito, California.
Meghan showed off a series of photos and videos featuring herself, Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet “getting into summer.”
The post also features Meghan’s beagle, Mia, and a group of the family’s latest addition.
