“I spoke with Attorney General Phil Weiser, who won the Democratic gubernatorial primary last night. It’s very likely that he will be the next governor of Colorado, just as it is very likely that you will be a member of the Colorado congressional delegation next year,” the host said. he said. “He has some real concerns about what you said about Israel and specifically the firebombing of Jewish people in Boulder, and he told me he wanted to sit down and talk to you so you could hear where he was coming from and hear where you were coming from. Are you open to that?”
“Absolutely,” he said of the prospect of chatting with Weiser. “You know, at the end of the day, there was a horrific attack on a group of Jews who were peacefully protesting in Boulder, and we see that Israel’s actions put the Jewish people in grave danger, and the resulting increased hatred and antisemitism is something that I intend to prioritize and combat.”
He added: “I’m really looking forward to sitting down and talking with Phil Weiser to figure out how we can work together to combat this hatred.”

In the aforementioned interview, Kiros said of the convicted bomber, “I don’t know what’s in the heart of the perpetrator,” claiming instead: “All I know is that he went and attacked innocent people for what they believed in, and I don’t even know what the people who attended that protest believed. In fact, most of them were probably just there to want the people who were kidnapped on October 7th to return to their families. That’s not a political stance. It’s a statement in itself.”
Mohamed Soliman’s attack took place on June 1, 2025, targeting a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder. eighty two years old Karen Diamond was murdered and about a dozen others were injured.
Suleiman appeared disguising himself as a gardener According to prosecutors, two flaming projectiles were thrown at the demonstrators before they took action.

He denied that he was motivated by hatred of Jews, but instead launched into what the Times called “a rambling diatribe against Zionism, which he described as the ‘enemy’.”
