Met Office names 18 areas facing heavy rain on Wednesday – full list | Weather | News

The Met Office has revealed which areas will experience rain on Wednesday as wintry conditions return to parts of England. According to the weather agency, the day will start with morning rain and drizzle before bright skies emerge in the South.

The forecast for Wednesday reads: “A cloudy start with some rain and drizzle. Brighter, intermittent showers in the north and northwest. Some warm, bright weather developing in the south. Humid in the south.”

The weather map prepared by the Met Office also shows which regions will receive rain; Much of the West of the country experiences showers around 6.30am.

Weather conditions appear to be moving in from the west, soaking areas from Cornwall in South West England to Gairloch in North West Scotland.

Elsewhere, a small part of England’s east coast is also expected to see rain; particularly in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, but also extends into the midlands.
