Microsoft layoffs hit 830 workers in home state of Washington

Thousands of Microsoft Employees who lost their jobs in the deductions announced this week, 830 employees in the company’s own Washington province.

According to a document that Microsoft sent to Washington employment officials, about a dozen game design worker in the state was part of the dismissal.

According to the document, 10 lawyers and six hardware engineers Microsoft Research Department had five individual participants and managers.

Microsoft, a person familiar with CNBC, explained his plans to eliminate 9,000 jobs on Wednesday as part of his effort to eliminate excess and encourage employees to focus on more meaningful work by adopting new technologies. The person asked not to be named when discussing special issues.

Point Microsoft Sales officials and video game developers have come to the fore on social media to announce their departure since then. In April, Microsoft said that the income from Xbox content and services increased by 8%and increased the total growth by 13%.

In sales, the company, Washington -based 16 customer success account management personnel, 28 sales strategy activation and five more sales compensation left. A Washington -based government workers were also dismissed.

According to the document, Microsoft eliminated 17 jobs in the cloud solution architecture in the state. The fastest increase in income of the company comes from the Azure and other cloud services that customers purchased on use.

CEO Satya Nadella did not make a public comment on the layoffs, and Microsoft did not comment on the interruptions in Washington immediately. In a conference meeting with analysts in April, Microsoft CFO Amy Hood said the company “focus on cost efficiency” in March quarter.
