Milk product sold at Morrisons, Asda and Tesco urgently recalled – ‘do not consume’ | UK | News

A dairy product sold in many UK supermarkets has been recalled by the company that produces it. Graham’s Family Dairy is recalling its semi-skimmed milk after veterinary drugs, including antibiotics, were found in the product.

The affected products are one-litre, one-litre and two-litre bottles with an expiration date of July 31, 2026. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the milk “may be unsafe to consume and may be a possible health risk for anyone allergic to antibiotics”.

The milk can be purchased from popular supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and Marrisons and must be returned to the store for a full refund.

All retail stores selling this product will display point-of-sale notices explaining to customers why the product is being recalled and what to do if they purchase it.

Grahams Family Dairy said: “At Grahams Family Dairy we believe the quality of our products and the safety of our consumers are paramount…

“This is a precaution we are taking because milk contains traces of antibiotics and there is a small risk that it could cause a reaction in consumers with antibiotic allergies.

“If you have purchased any of these products, please do not consume them. Instead, please return the milk to the store where you purchased it and get a refund.

“We apologize for this issue and would like to reassure our customers that no other Grahams Family Dairies products or Best Before Dates will be affected.
