Missing Girls Reunited With Parents

Four special teams from Domalguda police and Secunderabad Special Task Force reviewed the footage of 262 CCTV cameras to trace and safely rescue the three missing minor girls. After the successful work of the police teams, the children were reunited with their families on Sunday.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, DCP (Secunderabad) Rakshitha Krishna Murthy said that a case was registered regarding the disappearance of three minor girls in Domalguda around 1.45 am on July 19.

Based on the technical evidence and information collected during the investigation, the Secunderabad Task Force team of Domalguda police successfully traced the three missing minor girls with the help of Kanker Police in Chhattisgarh. The investigation revealed that the girls left home of their own accord after being scolded by their parents.

A case of missing person was registered upon the mother’s complaint. Police said the family migrated to Hyderabad from Chhattisgarh in May in search of livelihood and was residing in Fareed Basthi with their children.

According to the police, around 03:00 in the morning on July 19, the family noticed that the girls were missing from the house. They searched nearby areas, talked to relatives and acquaintances, but could not find any trace of him. A complaint was later lodged at Domalguda police station. Police formed special teams from Domalguda and Secunderabad Task Force and examined the CCTV cameras. In the footage, the girls were seen leaving the house at around 01.47. They boarded an autorickshaw and reached Kachiguda Railway Station. They then went to Secunderabad Railway Station and boarded the Danapur Express around 9 am. The girls reached Nagpur on July 20 and then took a bus to Gadchiroli and Palanjur village, where they stayed for two days.

Police teams located the girls as a result of CCTV monitoring and field investigations and rescued the girls safely. The operation was carried out under the supervision of DCP (Secunderabad) and senior officials.
