MOD video shows Russian shadow fleet tanker interception

Royal Marine Commandos and officers from the National Crime Agency boarded a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker in the English Channel.

These images of the 6-hour operation, supported by the RAF, were also shared by the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense said the Smyrtos ship would be kept and monitored off the southern coast while investigations continued.
