Mold-Tek Packaging Limited Q1 Profit Increased by 14.17%

Hyderabad based rigid Plastic Packaging Company posted a net profit of Rs. 25.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs. 22.40 crore a year ago. Revenue grew 24.90% year-on-year to Rs. 300.45 crore from Rs. 240.56 crore. EBITDA increased by 19.10% to Rs. 56.43 crore while EBITDA per kg reached a “HISTORICAL HIGH” level of Rs. 46.68 in the first quarter of FY27 compared to Rs. 41.64 per kg in the first quarter of FY26, driven by better capacity utilization, consolidation of Hyderabad Units and higher contribution from high margin Pharmaceutical Packaging business. Profit before tax increased by 13.86% to 1.2 million TL. 34.17 crore against Rs. 30.01 crore in the last year quarter.
Mr. J Lakshmana Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “Despite the current war situation, Mold-Tek Packaging Limited has made a strong start to the Financial Year 2026-27 and delivered an excellent performance in the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Buoyed by increased FVDITA through higher capacity utilization and consolidation of units in Hyderabad.
Despite increasing geopolitical uncertainties during the quarter, the Company did not experience a material impact on its operations, supply chain or financial performance; high input costs were effectively passed on to customers.

Commenting on the pharmaceutical packaging plans, Mr. J Rana Pratap, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Head of Pharmaceutical Business Unit, said, “There is a huge opportunity in the Pharmaceutical Packaging space, including diagnostics, and we have plans to enter these high margin areas, including dosage pens. We are also looking at ways to enter Electronics and Semiconductor packaging soon to leverage our deep knowledge in Mold making and Robotics.”
