More than 30 jihadists killed in air strikes, Nigerian military says

Nigeria’s army said that he had killed 35 jihads in a series of air strikes close to the northeastern border with Cameroon.
The strikes were held in four areas to prevent jihadists from attempting to attack land troops.
Nigeria has been struggling with jihadist groups for more than a decade, violent crime gangs, sectarian conflict and widespread kidnapping for ransom.
On Saturday, a group of leading Nigeria, including former government ministers, business people, and civil society activists, announced that some of Nigeria’s “war -time massacre levels”.
The group referred to a report published in May, which has been killed by President Bola Tinubu two years ago, that at least 10,217 people have been killed in May.
The militant Islamist group called for a presidential duty force with extensive powers to end numerous conflicts, including the revival of Boko Haram in the northeast.
Last week, the Ordu reported that he had killed approximately 600 militants in the region in eight months. There is no independent confirmation of the claim.
Nigeria Air Force, the northeast jihadist bases that say that the land troops will continue to provide air cover, he said.
