MS NOW Analyst Predicts MTG Will Run For GA Governor
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) may leave Congress in five years, but he won’t quit politics entirely, according to an MS NOW political analyst.
political strategist Cornell Belcher said Alex Witt Greene will use it on Saturday To leave Minister Donald Trump running for another office, this time closer to home.
“This was an announcement hidden under a resignation speech, wasn’t it?” Belcher declared Greene’s move “politically genius,” saying:
He continued:
He positions himself by saying that Congress, not just Democrats but Republicans, is not functioning, that Republicans in Congress have lost their way, and that he is essentially America First. But America First has been sidelined by corporate Republicans in Washington.
And then to distance yourself from Trump [Jeffrey] epsteinand positions herself as someone who will fight for women and not back down on women’s issues: This was not a resignation speech. This was a preparatory speech for an announcement.
Belcher added, “If I had a bet, Alex is going to run for governor.”
“Didn’t he say before that he wasn’t interested in statewide office?” Witt asked. he replied by asking.
“Yes, but what is it worth?” Belcher asked. “So this isn’t worth the price of a cup of coffee, right?”
Belcher added: “He’s clearly preparing to run for another office. Meanwhile, he’s positioning himself as the opposite of what’s going on in the Republican Party in Washington, which isn’t a bad place for Alex to position himself.”
Greene announced in a chilling resignation video posted on social media on Friday:
