Popular children’s YouTube instructor “Miss Rachel” faced criticism Sunday after a federal filing showed she gave $3,000 to Abdul El-Sayed’s Michigan Senate campaign by supporting the progressive Democrat in a nationally watched primary election increasingly divided over Israel.
The donation led National Republican Senatorial Committee spokeswoman Samantha Cantrell to warn parents about both figures: The New York Post reported.
“Abdul El-Sayed and Ms. Rachel are one and the same, pushing their socialist, they/them, anti-American agenda on our children,” Cantrell told The New York Post. “Parents should be worried about going to the polls.”

According to the New York Post, Rachel Griffin Accurso, who produces children’s content under the name “Miss Rachel,” was listed in the Federal Election Commission’s 48-hour notification dated July 19. The application did not specify whether the payment was a contribution or a loan.
The transaction linked Accurso, whose YouTube channel has more than 20 million subscribers, to El-Sayed, who has called for an arms embargo on Israel and accused the country of committing genocide in Gaza.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. El-Sayed, who is supported by and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DY, was asked on “Inside Politics Sunday” in July whether the United States should designate the Israeli government as a foreign terrorist organization.

“This is definitely a rogue state,” El-Sayed said. “So they committed genocide.”
Israel has repeatedly denied allegations of genocide, saying its military targeted Hamas and tried to limit civilian casualties.
El-Sayed held rallies in Michigan in April along with far-leftist Hasan Piker, who had previously said “America deserved 9/11” and later apologized. When Fox News host Will Cain pressed El-Sayed about their partnership in May, the candidate rejected the suggestion that campaigning with Piker meant endorsing all of his words.
“You think that just because he says something once, I will automatically believe it,” El-Sayed said.

Accurso has kept his Gaza advocacy largely separate from his children’s schedules. During a month of August PBS NewsHour interviewHe defended speaking publicly about Palestinian children while responding to accusations that his advocacy promoted anti-Israel messages.
“I think it’s sad to take someone’s commitment and love for all children and try to do it wrong,” Accurso said.
Accurso previously gave $3,500 to Brad Lander and Darializa Avila Chevalier, two congressional candidates backed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who defeated Democrats in June, the New York Post reported.
Accurso’s husband, Aron Accurso, also gave Chevalier $1,500. FEC records.
The YouTuber is increasingly getting into politics beyond campaign contributions. He told NBC News in March that he was working with lawyers and activists to close the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in South Texas after accusing the facility of “neglect and child abuse,” Fox News Digital reported.
During the interview, he embraced the political label as he explained his advocacy for immigration.

“I’m political,” Accurso said. “It is political to believe that children are worthy of love and care, that every child is equal, and that our care should not be limited to how we look, our family, our religion, or a border.”
CoreCivic, which operates the Dilley facility, disputed Accurso’s claims in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying the facility provides families with “safe, humane and compassionate care.”
Accurso continued her immigration advocacy in June, meeting with families outside the Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, and then traveled to Washington to urge lawmakers to end family detentions with letters and drawings from children in ICE custody. Washington Post.
