Murder arrests after man stabbed to death in park

A man died after a deadly stabbed in a park in Dewsbury.
Western Yorkshire police were invited to reports of a group of men at Crow Nest Park on Saturday at 20:17 on the Crow Nest Park on the Heckmondwike Road in the Dewsbury Moor region.
The Assembly and the Air Ambulance joined the scene, but the man in his 30s was announced soon after.
Force, three people were arrested on suspicion of murder, he said.

Police, shortly before the incident in the park, at 20:11 Pilgrim Drive on a few people fighting a disorder report was also called, he said.
Det Ch Insp James Entwistle said: “A man was attacked with a winged article in Crow Nest Park, unfortunately we started a murder investigation after being subjected to fatal injuries.
“We believe that this is an targeted attack and that there is no wider threat to public members.
“I want to appeal to everyone who is around Crow Nest Park or around Pilgrim Drive or Pilgrim Crescent, which may have seen anything that can help us.”
Authorized, currently in the region’s extra police patrols and a few detectives investigating the scene, he added.
