Mushroom jury finishes first full day of deliberations

The mushroom trial jury was sent back to their accommodation after completing the first negotiations on whether Erin Patterson was guilty of a triple murder.

The twelve jury retired to take into account the afternoon decisions Monday, as the Victoria High Court in Morwell in Victoria reached the 10th week.

They returned to court at around 10.30 on Tuesday and met at 4.15 hours before they were sent to sequential accommodation.

Since the jury retired to negotiate on Monday, black linoleum was placed in front of Patterson’s house in Leongatha.

The prosecutor’s office and the defense then spent a week by delivering closing arguments before giving instructions to the jury Christopher Beale.

He said that the jury members should think about whether the prosecution has proved beyond reasonable suspicion, and whether Patterson had deliberately served the limits of death to kill his guests.

Justice Beale reminded the jury members that Patterson should be acquitted if there is any doubt about the feeling of guilt.

On Monday, “If you have a reasonable doubt if you are guilty of crime, you will not be satisfied with the defendant is guilty of crime,” he said.

The jury is lined up during the negotiations and will remain together until unanimously reached in all charges.

Justice Beale reiterated how each person has reached the consequences, but each jury member should agree on the decision.

He reminded the jury members unanimously that they would not return home until their decisions.

The jury can deliver its decisions from 10.30 to 16.00 on Saturdays and Saturdays on Saturdays and Saturdays.

If they did not make a decision, but if they do not negotiate that day, they will be sequeened on Sunday.

The jury will return to court to gather negotiations on Wednesday morning.
