NATO issues WW3 warning as Russian missiles ‘could hit London in 5 minutes’ | World | News

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte published a terrible warning that Russian missiles could shoot London or Madrid in just five minutes. He argued that the alliance of Western European cities was not safer than those in the eastern wing. Mr. Rutte announced that Moscow’s newest missiles travels on five floors of sound speed, that is, the journey to England could take five to 10 minutes.

This is not much longer than necessary to hit Tallinn in Estonia or Vilnius in Lithuania. He said: “Of course, the problem is that this is about the eastern wing, because a direct threat to the eastern wing, for example, drones or anyway, can threaten our allies in the eastern wings.

“But more generally, if we talk, you know, I don’t like the whole East wing idea, because if I live in Madrid or London, it gives the impression that I’m safer than I lived in Tallinn.

“So, in this sense, let us accept that we all live in the eastern wing of 32 countries.”

This activates Article 4 of the Treaty of the Alliance, while Russia comes after the NATO warrior jets are mixed when they enter the Poland airspace on Wednesday.

The movement triggered a discussion between the military alliance members. Poland, a NATO member state, described the presence of Russian drones in the airspace as a “act of aggression”.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces, as a result of an intensive Russian attack on Ukraine, said he had detected night drones in the airspace.

British Defense Secretary John Healey warned that Vladimir Putin “tested” the West – but the Ukrainian allies will stand together and “solid” against their threats.

He said: “Together, E5 completely condemn these attacks. Russia’s actions are reckless, dangerous, unseen. We see what Putin is doing. Again it is testing us. We will still stand intact.”
