In a video message welcoming delegates from over 30 countries, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi underlined the importance of the Dialogue as a vital forum to promote cooperation and strengthen regional capacity. “Together, let’s build a safer, stronger and more prosperous maritime order,” he said, emphasizing the Navy’s role in supporting collective maritime growth and security.

At Tuesday’s opening session themed ‘Collaborative Capacity Building and Capability Enhancement in Addressing the Security Impacts of Climate Change’, Dr. Iqbal Singh Sevea (National University of Singapore), Mr. Hideshi Tokuchi (Peace and Security Research Institute, Japan), First Admiral Salim (Indonesian Naval Command and Staff College), Mr. David Willima (Institute of Security Studies, South Africa) and Mr. Badirujjaman Bodi (Bangladesh Maritime Research and Development Institute).
