NFL news: Titans players mock Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders got a taste of his own medicine after a late turnover in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
Sanders threw a short pass to Dylan Sampson in the fourth quarter. Sampson lost the ball and it was recovered by defender Cedric Gray, which helped score an important goal late in the game. Gray and other teammates went into the end zone and taunted the rookie quarterback.

Titans players raised their wrists to do the clock flex celebration that Sanders has done after big moments since arriving in Colorado. Sanders did this many times while making big plays against the Titans. Cleveland couldn’t hold on and lost the game 32-29.
Sanders finished 23/42 for 364 passing yards, with three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. He also made a crucial interception in the game, which also set up a Titans goal.

“He fought the whole game, which we knew he would,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. “Every young player has ups and downs and I thought he had some really, really good moments. He’ll continue to learn from some games that he wants to get back, but there will be some really good moments as well.”
One of Sanders’ touchdown passes was a 60-yard pass to Jerry Jeudy.
Sanders acknowledged that they had a little conflict during last week’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but they came to the same conclusion on the score.

“Obviously, me and Jerry had an argument last week. But I believe him, he believes me, and everyone puts everything aside,” Sanders said. “It was really exciting to be able to connect with him because I know the season didn’t go his way this year.”
