NHS ‘online hospital’ will help cut waiting lists, Starmer to announce

Sir Keir Starmer will make a new “online hospital” and will help to cut the waiting lists.

The Prime Minister will use his speech at the Leading Conference to identify NHS online plans that will connect patients to expert clinicians.

Labour claimed that the plan, which will start to operate in 2027, will present up to 8.5 million extra NHS appointments in the first three years.

Online hospital can be accessed through NHS application and will allow patients to choose between digital service and local hospitals.

Patients in need of a physical test or procedure will be able to reserve them in a nearby hospital, in the surgical center or in the community diagnostic center.
