Referring to the India-France strategic partnership in an environment where Indo-US ties are weak, Modi said although many countries have embarked on trade and strategic cooperation, only a few relationships are guided by a common vision and common interests. He described the India-France partnership as an enduring relationship based on mutual trust, shared values and a common outlook for the future.
The Prime Minister said the young innovators present at the meeting represent a new India characterized by confidence, energy and problem-solving mindset, noting that Indian innovators are leveraging emerging technologies to solve grassroots challenges, with some using artificial intelligence to transform rural communities and others using satellite technology to support farmers.
India-France Year of Innovation
Emphasizing that the India-France Year of Innovation celebrations are continuing, the Prime Minister said that Bharat Innovates is another milestone in the two countries’ common commitment to work for global good.
