Nilgiris forest fire totally contained: TN government

An official statement said the forest fire reported in Nilgiris district has been “completely brought under control” and field teams are constantly patrolling the area to prevent the fire from spreading.

Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar, Forest Department and State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) officials were closely monitoring the forest fires in the Nilgiris region.
